An avid cyclist for many years, Kevin has enjoyed watching cycling gain popularity in our little corner of Iowa over the last decade. After countless out of town trips to the nearest bike dealers he decided it was time Le Mars had a shop of it's own. In October 2010, he set to work remodeling his plumbing and heating business to accommodate a showroom and workshop for bicycles. Seven months later Bike Central opened it's doors.
Kevin, his wife, Dawn, and their three sons have enjoyed many RAGBRAI's together as part of Team Paradise and ridden numerous other regional rides as a family.
Mark started cycling in 1988 and hasn't stopped since. With a business background and having tinkered with his own bikes for years, Mark joined Bike Central to oversee daily operations as well as perform repairs and organize shop rides and races. Mark enjoys riding in regional rides, especially RAGBRAI, BRR, and the Tour de Plymouth.
